白甲，亦称“纸甲”。古代用厚纸制做的防护衣甲。成本低廉，简便易制，对锋矢之防护力甚强。《渊鉴类函》卷二百二十八引《八编类纂》曰：“后周师至，争奉斗酒迎劳，而将帅不之恤，专事俘掠。民皆失望，相聚山泽，立堡壁自固，操农器为兵，积纸为甲，时人谓之白甲军，周兵讨之。”参阅《新唐书·徐商传》、明代米国祯《涌幢小品》。
