①闷瘄之一。见于痰饮素盛的麻疹患儿。症见气急发喘，满口痰涎，咯痰不出，喉间有声。麻毒与痰饮相搏，内迫于肺，肺气不宣，疹难透发所致。治宜宣肺涤痰，用二陈汤加葶苈、栝楼仁、莱菔子、白芥子、枳壳、连翘、桔梗之类。 ②指惊风、癫痫发作，风痰壅盛而致上闭清窍。症见昏迷，手足搐搦，目窜口?等症。治宜豁痰开窍，用牛黄丸、紫金锭之类；并重掐或强刺人中、合谷等穴，以开闭醒神。 ③痰闭惊厥。详该条。 ④小儿昏迷的一种证型。详小儿昏迷条。
