电刷（Brush）是电机的一个重要组成元件，负责在旋转部件与静止部件之间传导电流。因较多用石墨制成，故也称碳刷。 电刷多装配于换向器或滑环上，是一个滑动型接触体。需有光滑、耐磨、导电性良好等特性。根据不同的应用，它们要么是部分金属部件（铜，银，钼），丰富或完全由金属制成。 实际使用中，一个滑环通常配最少两个电刷，避免因单个电刷接触不良而变成断路。
