玻璃布（glass-fibre fabric）用玻璃纤维（见无机纤维）织成的织物。具有绝缘、绝热、耐腐蚀、不燃烧、耐高温、高强度等性能，主要用作绝缘材料、玻璃钢的增强材料、化学品过滤布、高压蒸汽绝热材料、防火制品、高弹性传动带、建筑材料和贴墙布等。玻璃质脆，较粗的玻璃纤维织造时容易折断，所以一般用于织制玻璃布的纤维直径为3.8～15.5微米。玻璃纤维可制成长丝和短纤纱。

最常见的基材为FR-4——玻璃布（Woven glass）、环氧树脂。覆铜板的分类有很多种，最常见的为按Tg值（耐热性）来分类：一般Tg的板材≥130℃，中Tg≥150℃，高Tg≥170℃。
