玻片凝集试验是定性试验方法，具有简便、快速的特点，一般用来鉴定菌种或分型，也用于人类ABO血型的鉴定。一般用已知抗体作为诊断血清、与受检颗粒抗原如菌液或红细胞悬液各加1滴在玻片上，混匀，数分钟后即可用肉眼观察凝集结果，出现颗粒凝集的为阳性反应。
