环量（circulation）是流体的速度沿着一条闭曲线的路径积分，通常用Γ来表示。 一个矢量沿一条封闭曲线积分，得到的结果叫环量。 环量控制由边界层控制发展而来，已成为一个专门课题。所谓环量控制，是指在后缘为圆弧形的翼型后部上表面开缝，气流从缝中喷出，挟带着上面的气流绕后缘流动，直到在后缘某点分离，由此在该翼型上形成环量，产生升力。
