环翠区是威海市的两个建制区之一，地处山东半岛最东端，三面环海，东与朝鲜半岛、日本列岛隔海相望，是中国与韩国直线距离最近的城市。陆地总面积731平方公里，辖6个镇，3个街道办事处，人口49.6万。 （威海经济技术开发区成立后环翠区情况有很大变化，目前环翠区总面积276平方公里，海岸线长88公里，辖4个镇、4个街道办事处，总人口29.2万）

谢深甫墓 墓在临海白水洋镇水晶坦村保宁寺自然村村后环翠山麓，南向，坟面已经谢氏裔孙重修。
