specific reaction 又称专一性反应。 在特定条件下，一种试剂只与一种离子、一种化合物或一类化学基团起反应，产生可检测的产物(如具有特殊的颜色、吸收光谱、沉淀等)，这类化学反应称为特异反应。 例如下列两种试剂都可检测S2-：(1)醋酸铅，与S2-反应生成黑色或褐色；(2)亚硝酰铁氰化钠，与S2-反应生成红紫色，但与SO32-有同样反应；显然(1)是特异反应，而(2)不是。因此醋酸铅与S2-的特异反应被广泛用于检测药物中的硫化物杂质，食品或食品添加剂中硫化物的限量试验等等。
