物态（state of matter）,学名聚集态，是一般物质在一定的温度和压强条件下所处的相对稳定的状态，通常是指固态、液态和气态。物质的上述三种状态是可以互相转化的。譬如水（液态），冷的时候会结成冰（固态），加热到较高温度时，会变成蒸汽（气态）。 除了上述三种物态以外，有人增加了等离子态、超固态和玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚态。当气体中分子运动更加剧烈，成为离子、电子的混合体时，称为等离子态；当压强超过百万大气压时，固体的原子结构被破坏，原子的电子壳层被挤压到原子核的范围，这种状态称为超固态；有些原子气体被冷却到纳开（10－9K）温度时，被称为气体原子（玻色子）都进入能量最低的基态，称为玻色–爱因斯坦凝聚态。 其它还有超流态，超导态，超气态等非常规基态。
