片吸虫病(fascioliasis)是由肝片形吸虫(fasciola hepatica)和巨片形吸虫(fasciola gigantica)寄生于草食性哺乳动物的肝胆管内,或人体而引起人兽共患寄生虫病,是牛、羊等动物严重的寄生虫病之一,感染率高达20%~60%,严重危害畜牧业发展。对终宿主选择不严格,人体并非其适宜宿主,故异位寄生较多,临床表现较为复杂多样,并较为严重,主要由童虫在腹腔及肝脏所造成的急性期表现及由成虫所致胆管炎症和增生为主的慢性期表现。
