炎性假瘤为一种特发的非特异性慢性增殖性炎症，临床表现类似肿瘤，但实质上是炎症，故名炎性假瘤。该病较为常见，病因尚不清楚，目前多认为是一种免疫反应性疾病。
炎性假瘤（inflammatory pseudotumor）：组织的炎性增生形成的一个境界清楚的、肉眼和X线观查与肿瘤相似的团块，常发生于眼眶和肺。
