灯水母（Australian box jellyfish）属刺胞动物，又名箱水母、海黄蜂、海洋中的透明杀手。是一种在澳大利亚和亚洲东南沿海可以发现的微小水母。这种水母仅有大约16英寸长，它有4个眼睛集中的地方，共有24只眼睛。灯水母的触须上生长着数千个储存毒液的刺细胞，不仅恶意的攻击，就连贝壳或皮肤不经意的剐蹭都会刺激这些微小的毒刺。毒性致命，十分危险。

水母水族缸(图右上)内的三只水母实际上都是由硅胶制成，再配上鱼缸底部的LED光灯，也使缸内水母栩栩如生。
