熏笼的别名。熏笼亦称香炉、香熏，是点燃熏料驱赶蚊虫的器物。使用熏笼的习俗在我国由来已久，自两汉以来，历朝历代一直延续不断。古代较早的熏笼均为陶瓷烧制。明清时代熏笼的制作和使用进入了一个非常繁荣的时期。故宫内大殿、书房、内寝皆置高达三四尺的巨大熏炉，多为掐丝珐琅等景泰蓝的精品，也有铸铜鎏金、錾刻精美的极品，彰显豪华高贵的皇室气派。当时的文人雅士，也多喜欢在书案上陈设造型各异、纹饰典雅的香熏炉，以营造怡性逸情的高雅意境。
