温锻是将模具加热至金属的锻造温度进行的模锻。可充分利用金属的塑性,降低变形抗力。可用较小吨位的设备进行锻造。可使形状复杂的工件成形。多用于模锻时难变形的、变形温度范围狭窄的铝合金、钛合金及其他高温合金锻件的加工。温锻将金属加热到回复温度或再结晶温度附近进行的锻造工艺。温锻变形时加工硬化有不同程度的降低,因而锻造变形力比冷锻低,但大于热锻。锻件的精度、表面粗糙度、表面氧化、脱碳程度和力学性能则优于热锻件,与冷锻件相近。还可锻造冷锻加工难以成形的高碳钢与高合金钢材料。
