淋巴结的疾病，用望诊和触诊可查知淋巴结表面皮肤的色泽和紧张度、与周围组织的粘连情况；淋巴结的性状以及有无压痛，并结合肿大的速度以及全身症状，再参考血象和血清蛋白的变化，大致可以得出相当准确的诊断。但是，一般地说，为了确诊常常需要对肿大的淋巴结进行活组织检查。
