普通法（包括商法）的规则，须继续适用于海上保险合约，但与本条例的明订条文有抵触者除外。
The rules of the common law including the law merchant save in so far as they are inconsistent with the express provisions of this ordinance shall continue to apply to contracts of marine insurance.
最大诚信原则适用于海上保险的全过程，是贯通当事人各项义务的中枢。
The utmost good faith applies to the whole process of Marine insurance, being the central nerve of the various obligations to both parties.
第二十二条海上保险合同，除法律另有规定外，适用本条例的规定。
Article22. Unless otherwise stipulated by the Law, the present Regulations shall apply to contracts of Marine insurance.
