流动资产（Current Assets）是指企业可以在一年或者超过一年的一个营业周期内变现或者运用的资产，是企业资产中必不可少的组成部分。流动资产在周转过渡中，从货币形态开始，依次改变其形态，最后又回到货币形态（货币资金→储备资金、固定资金→生产资金→成品资金→货币资金），各种形态的资金与生产流通紧密相结合，周转速度快，变现能力强。加强对流动资产业务的审计，有利于确定流动资产业务的合法性、合规性，有利于检查流动资产业务帐务处理的正确性，揭露其存在的弊端，提高流动资产的使用效益。
