活化剂是浮选药剂中，能够增强矿物表面对捕收剂的吸附能力的一类调整剂。用以通过改变矿物表面的化学组成，消除抑制剂作用，使之易于吸附捕收剂。如磷酸乙二胺、磷酸丙二胺、二甲苯、氟硅酸钠、硫酸铵、氯化铵、硫酸亚铁、氢氧化铵等。
