(1492~1563)明代僧。嘉禾人,俗姓富。字玉芝,号月泉。工于诗,少孤贫,资质慧敏,好读书,每就寺僧借阅经典,隔宿即还,皆能背诵。十四岁于资圣寺出家。受具足戒后,先谒吉庵、法舟等,俱不契机,偶遇王阳明,与之语,疑情顿发;一日,闻僧诵古案,不觉释然。后参天通显于碧峰,蒙其印可。遂隐居湖州天池,衲子闻风而至,渐成丛林。以嘉靖四十二年示寂,世寿七十二。有玉芝内外集。(续灯存稿卷十、补续高僧传卷二十六、莫干山志卷十二、国朝献征录卷一一八、明诗综卷九十二)p3420 来自:【佛光大辞典】
