以水作为淬火剂进行淬火,称为水淬。优点是在高温区(550℃~650℃)冷却较快,缺点是低温区(200℃~300℃)也冷却较快,易造成较大的组织应力。水淬是把高温物体放入水中,再烧红热,再放入水中,如此反复,可提高刚性。
