水力梯度，又称水力坡降或者水力坡度。指沿渗透途径水头损失与渗透途径长度的比值；可以理解为水流通过单位长度渗透途径为克服摩擦阻力所耗失的机械能；或为克服摩擦力而使水以一定流速流动的驱动力；或为在含水层中沿水流方向每单位距离的水头下降值（任意两点的水位差与该两点间的距离之比）。
