氯铂酸，无机化合物，通常带有六个结晶水，分子式：H2PtCI6·6H2O，红棕色或橙红色结晶。吸潮性极强。易溶于水，溶于醇、醚和丙酮。主要用于制备贵金属催化剂及贵金属涂镀；沉淀钾、镓、铵、铯和铊，以与钠分离；沉淀生物碱；电镀；制造铂石棉等。在分析化学上用于检验钾，铵等离子。石油化工中加氢脱氢催化剂的活性成分。
