氨茶碱为茶碱与乙二胺复盐，其药理作用主要来自茶碱，乙二胺使其水溶性增强。不溶于甲醇、乙醇、乙醚。本品对呼吸道平滑肌有直接松弛作用。其作用机理比较复杂，过去认为通过抑制磷酸二酯酶，使细胞内cAMP含量提高所致。
药物治疗：（1）氨茶碱（aminophylline）：是治疗高原肺水 老年人过敏性肠综合征 糖15～30ml，效果亦较好，尤其适用于老年人。
