氢脆是溶于钢中的氢,聚合为氢分子,造成应力集中,超过钢的强度极限,在钢内部形成细小的裂纹,又称白点。氢脆只可防,不可治。氢脆一经产生,就消除不了。在材料的冶炼过程和零件的制造与装配过程(如电镀、焊接)中进入钢材内部的微量氢(10的负6次方量级)在内部残余的或外加的应力作用下导致材料脆化甚至开裂。
