氟橡胶（Fluorelastomer）是指主链或侧链的碳原子上含有氟原子的合成高分子弹性体。由于C-F键能大(每摩尔485 kJ), 且氟原子共价半径为0.064 nm, 相当于C-C键长的一半, 因此氟原子可以把C-C主链很好地屏蔽起来, 保证了C-C链的稳定性, 使其具有其他橡胶不可比拟的优异性能, 如耐高温、耐油、耐化学药品性能, 良好的物理机械性能和耐候性、电绝缘性和抗辐射性等, 在所有合成橡胶中其综合性能最佳, 俗称“橡胶王”。
