比例法亦称“间接计算法”。它是利用过去两个相关经济指标之间长期形成的稳定比率来推算确定计划期有关指标的一种方法。例如，在一定的生产技术组织条件下，某种辅助材料的消耗量与企业总产值之间有一个相对稳定的比例关系，就可根据这个比率来推算其计划需用量。运用比例法来计算确定计划指标，关键是要通过长期的分析研究，正确掌握相关量之间的比例关系。同时，还要充分考虑到计划期内生产技术组织条件可能发生的变化及其影响，对计算结果作必要的调整。这样，才能使计划指标比较符合实际。
