残余变形,又称不可恢复变形,是指已经进入塑性阶段的材料在卸载至初始状态后,其变形不能回到初始状态,而存在的一部分无法恢复的变形。在低碳钢拉伸的应力-应变曲线中,当试验加载到d点后卸载至d'点时,正截面上的应力变为0而应变不为0,此时od'即为加载试验后低碳钢的残余应变,进而可求得低碳钢的残余变形。
