正轴投影是平面投影面与地球自转轴垂直,或圆锥、圆柱投影面的中心轴与地球自转轴重合的一类地图投影。投影面为平面时,该面与地球自转轴垂直,平面的法线方向与地轴平行,称为正轴方位投影;投影面为圆柱面或圆锥面时,其中心轴与地轴重合,称为正轴圆柱投影或正轴圆锥投影。
