正反交（reciprocal crosses）又称互交。两个杂交亲本相互作为母本和父本的杂交。如以A（♀）×B（♂）为正交，则B（♀）×A（♂）为反交。正交与反交是相对而言的，不是绝对的。如果决定有关性状的基因位于核染色体上，则正、反交的遗传效果一样；如果决定有关性状的基因在细胞质中，则正、反交的遗传效果可能有差别。因此，可以通过正、反交来检验细胞质遗传等现象。
