次生包裹体(secondary inclusion)是主矿物形成后,由于后期构造热事件影响使主矿物破裂产生裂隙或孔隙,后期流体介质进入这些后生裂隙和孔隙,并使主矿物产生部分溶解,之后重新结晶,并圈闭这些后来流体而形成的包裹体。
结合天然样品对比,线缺陷型次生包裹体是最常见的,也是分析中用到最多的包裹体类型。
