棘头虫，属于无脊椎动物、棘头动物门，在世界上分布广泛，均为寄生生活，大多数具有致病性，成虫寄生在脊椎动物体内，幼虫寄生在节肢动物体内，在肠内脱出，用吻钻入肠壁，并发育成熟。
