梅核气，中医病证名，指因情志不遂，肝气瘀滞，痰气互结，停聚于咽所致，以咽中似有梅核阻塞、咯之不出、咽之不下、时发时止为主要表现的疾病。临床以咽喉中有异常感觉，但不影响进食为特征。中医肝病、中医咽喉疾病、中医精神疾病时均可见此病证。 现代医学称为咽异感症，又常被诊为咽部神经官能症，或称咽癔症、癔球。该病多发于青中年人，以女性居多。
