核模型，即对核子在原子核内的运动提出的解释和设想。由于核力及核多体问题的复杂性，对原子核的结构还不能做到完全的、精确的理论描述，因而只能根据相当数量的实验事实，归纳出几条解释某些核现象的局部规律。现有核模型主要包括费米气体模型、壳模型、集体模型、液滴模型以及相互作用玻色子模型等。
