1968年毕业于辽宁大学中文系。历任抚顺县第八中学校长，抚顺市文化局专职文学创作员，抚顺市轻纺局教育科负责人，《抚顺日报》文艺部主任，主任编辑。抚顺市作家协会副主席。1958年开始发表作品。1992年加入中国作家协会。
