曾明了，女，1959生于四川成都。1985年毕业于新疆职工大学中文系，1971年赴新疆乡村插队务农，历时8年之久，1994年加入中国作家协会。1995年又毕业于“鲁迅文学院研究生创作班”，北京市作家协会专业作家。曾获《小说月报》第六届百花奖；“全国精短小说奖”二等奖；第七届“鲁迅文学奖”；“东莞市最高文学奖——第二届荷花文学奖”。
