昼夜平分点(分点，英文：equinox)是地球赤道和黄道在地球上的交点，是相对的两个点。追溯这个字的源头来自拉丁文的aequi nox，意思是日夜等分。在实际上也是如此，当太阳经过昼夜平分点时，地球上各地的白天和夜晚都是一样长的，各有12个小时。
白天和黑夜被分为均等数量的部分，所以除去昼夜平分点，白天和黑夜时间是不等的；当然，这些时长也因季节变化而变化。
