明槽，矿建名词术语，一般是指矿井的斜硐开拓中才会有。斜井的硐身前期为砌碹巷道，而硐口部分施工过程中，不可能一开始就能够成巷，要开挖的大一些，而大的那部分砌碹后成型的巷道就是所谓的明槽了。 当需要开挖的深度不是很深时，一般采用明槽开挖；就是从上到下开挖，槽是露天的，所以是明槽。
