生旺火是中国北方地区的一种历史悠久的风俗习惯，主要以山西为主，河北、内蒙古等地也有庆祝。垒旺火一般在春节除夕和元宵节时进行。家家户户院落门前都要用大块煤炭垒成塔状，称之为旺火，以图吉利，祝贺全年兴旺。 由于旺火需要消耗大量的煤炭资源，且具有空气污染、易引发火灾等缺点，不少地方对点旺火开始施加限制，并提倡使用环保旺火。
