方向红，男，1967年8月出生，安徽省巢湖市庐江县人。1995年7月获南京大学哲学硕士学位，2002年6月取得南京大学哲学博士学位。现为南京大学哲学系外国哲学专业教授，东亚现象学会（PEACE）成员，中国现象学专业委员会成员，中国法国哲学专业委员会联络人。主要研究方向为当代德国哲学、当代法国哲学，尤其侧重于现象学。
