简称新华夏系。是亚洲东部濒太平洋地区特有的，中生代形成并持续活动的一个巨型多字型构造体系。它由一系列北北东方向的大型隆起带和沉降带构成，并有斜交的扭断裂和直交的张断裂相伴生。
研究区位于阴山东西向复杂构造带的东段，是与新华夏构造体系大兴安岭褶皱带交接的隆起部位，这种构造为热水的形成、运移奠定了良好的地质环境。
