又称“斜拉桥”。用通过或固定在桥墩塔架上的若干斜索吊住主梁的桥梁。由斜索、塔墩和主梁组成。斜索采用高强度钢丝绳(或钢缆),梁身用预应力混凝土或钢材制成。特点是梁身高度小、桥下净空大、用料较省、便于施工。适用于建造大跨度桥梁。
