教学的难点是指学生不易理解的知识，或不易掌握的技能技巧。难点不一定是重点。也有些内容既是难点又是重点。难点有时又要根据学生的实际水平来定，同样一个问题在不同班级里不同学生中，就不一定都是难点。在一般情况下，使大多数学生感到困难的内容，教师要着力想出各种有效办法加以突破，否则不但这部分内容学生听不懂学不会，还会为理解以后的新知识和掌握新技能造成困难。
