放射性皮炎是由于放射线（主要是β和γ射线及X线）照射引起的皮肤黏膜炎症性损害。本病主要见于接受放射治疗的患者及从事放射工作而防护不严者。可引起一系列皮肤反应和损伤，表现为可逆性的毛发脱落、皮炎、色素沉着及不可逆的皮肤萎缩，皮脂腺、汗腺的毁灭和永久性的毛发缺失，以致放射性坏死，继之形成溃疡。
