收入实现原则亦称实现原则、变现原则，是会计核算的又一项重要原则，但是却同样遭到资本保全理论的部分否定。是指资产在销售之后取得现金或收取现金的权利时才被确认收入。其理由是： （1）资产在销售之后，才完成了收益的整个过程，销售价格和销售成本才能全部客观地予以计量； （2）销售时的交换价格是资产价值的市场标准，它为计入提供了客观的可以验证的依据； （3）在销售时，资产的所有权已经转移，资产已经从一种形态转化为另一种形态（现金或债权）。只有在特殊情况下才采用其他方法，如时间过长的分期付款销售，采用现金收入时为销货点；长期建筑式程根据完工程度按比例承认合同价格的收入等。
