排律，指长篇的律诗，又称长律。一般是五言。它是汉族诗歌体裁之一，属于律诗的一种。由于按照一般律诗的格式加以铺排延长而成，故称排律，又叫长律。这个名称则产生于元代杨士弘的《唐音》，到了明代开始为人们普遍接受，并广泛地使用开来。它是律诗的一种分为五言、七言，格式不拘泥，但同样要严格遵守平仄、对仗、押韵等规则。
