拱棚一般是由竹竿和水泥柱建成，寿命长达3-10年，顶部呈弧形、上面覆盖塑料膜的棚。也叫二棚、面包棚、冷棚。适合我国南方地区以及北方春、夏、秋季节的种植以及养殖棚使用，拱棚相对与暖棚而言保温性能稍低，可在棚内加设二膜或三膜，以增加夜间温度。
