系手肌外侧群中位置最深的1块肌肉。此肌位于拇短屈肌和拇长屈肌腱的深面，起自两头：斜头，起自头状骨;横头，起自头状骨和第3掌骨的前面。止于拇指第1节指骨底的尺侧及其子骨。此肌受尺神经支配，收缩时使拇指内收和屈曲。
