折枝，花卉画的一种。画花卉不写全株，只画从树干上折下来的部分花枝，故名。扇页之类的小品花卉画，往往以简单折枝经营构图，弥觉隽雅。此外，“折枝”，也指七言律诗中对仗的颔颈二联，“折”其中“枝”而已。故折枝诗也就是对仗的七言联句。
