托脚是宋式建筑大木作梁架构件，明清官式建筑无此构件。在现存元代以前的古建筑梁架中十分常见，规格上小于叉手，其断面尺寸大多为宽十五分，厚五分，如依一等材推算，约为高27厘米，厚9厘米，其高为宋制的单材。“托脚”安于平梁以下的各梁袱之间，其上端支顶檩子，以防檩子下滑。
