扁豆，Lablab purpureus （Linn.） Sweet，通用名藊豆，别名火镰扁豆、藤豆、沿篱豆、鹊豆、查豆、月亮菜。为豆科扁豆属多年生、缠绕藤本植物。 世界各热带、亚热带地区均有栽培，扁豆花有红白两种，豆荚有绿白、浅绿、粉红或紫红等色。嫩荚作蔬食，白花和白色种子入药，有利于暑湿邪气的祛除，健脾止泻之效，同时扁豆还有显著的消退肿瘤的作用。
